October 12th Toy Trains Auction

All of Elliott Auctions sales are open to the general public in a cataloged online only format through our App, website, and multiple bidding platforms. Like any traditional auction, we require all bidders to be registered in advance to bid in our sales and to agree to our Terms of Sale. Bidders are issued a unique bidder or paddle number for each sale. All bidders will pay 15% buyers premium paying with a credit card, bidders paying with cash, check, or money order will pay a 15% buyers premium. We accept CASH, check, or major credit card (4.1% fee). Payment in advance is required in order to pickup your items. To schedule a time, contact our office in advance. Please be sure to bring ANY assistance and ALL the packing material you will need, we do not store used materials and do not have staff for loading. We have always shipped in house, and once we receive payment for your items, we can pack and send your shipping quote. We use Shipping Saints to get the best rates in the industry. Your items are professionally packed, using only the best quality materials. Bidding Terms 1 These Conditions apply to those bidders in attendance, online, through our App, or phone bidding directly through us. If you are participating through Live Auctioneers, please read the Terms & Conditions listed there as they will be applied to you. 2 The auctioneers have endeavored to correctly catalog and describe the property being sold, but all property is sold "as is". The auctioneers reserve the right to make verbal corrections and provide additional information from the block at the time of sale. All toys are sold as untested and are not guaranteed to work. All pieces to play sets and model kits have been photographed. We don't guarantee the completeness of the sets or kits unless they are described as sealed or complete in their lot description. 3 The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. In the event of any dispute between bidders, the auctioneers shall have absolute discretion as to who was the successful bidder or auctioneer may re-offer the disputed item for sale, if auctioneer so wishes. 4 Successful bidders must pay in full within ten days of sale, and items are not available for pickup until invoiced. The auctioneers reserve the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank, if the auctioneers deem such action necessary to protect their interest. 5 The auctioneers will accept as payment of each purchaser's account: cash, credit cards, certified checks or personal checks which have been approved by the auctioneers. All purchases are subject to the Indiana 7% sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a Sales Tax Exemption Number from any US state. 6 There is a 19.1% Buyer's Premium on payments made with a major credit card. For purchases made by cash, check or money order, the Buyer's Premium shall be reduced to 15%. 7 All of our auctions are listed with Live Auctioneers and other platforms. In the event of a problem with the internet service, we will stop selling and wait for the internet problem to be resolved. There are separate Conditions listed online for internet bidders. 8 All sales are final. Refunds will not be given to attending bidders except in case of damage by the auctioneers after the purchase has been made. Refunds will not be given because of the condition of the original box. In the case of a refund due because of damage during shipping, the buyer will be refunded only when the auctioneers have been reimbursed by the professional shipping company. Original shipping charges and return shipping charges will not be refunded in case of a returned item. 9 The auctioneers are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions. 10 The auctioneers are not responsible for items not collected by attending bidders. 11 Bidding on any item indicates your acceptance of these conditions. Elliott Auctions, LLC guarantees the toys they sell, but cannot be responsible for repairs not visible without taking the toy apart or replacement parts created by contemporary craftsmen who are doing expert restorations. Missing pieces of toys and games not obvious without directions or knowledge of the toy or game are also not part of this guarantee. Miniature figures - major defects, damages, repair and/or repainting have been noted where possible. It must be understood that we cannot be responsible for minor age defects or hidden conditions. They will be sold in an "as is" condition. Original boxes were used to protect the items inside, so they are usually worn to some degree. The original box is not included in the grading of the toy, ever. An original box described as "rough" should be considered as in very poor & distressed condition and may or may not be complete. It must be understood that toys were played with by children. Consequently, when a toy is graded C1, it has more flaws, such as rust, dents, worn tires, etc., than toys graded C6. However, the toys graded C6 also might have these flaws, but to a lesser degree. We do not grade a toy based on its rarity or desirability. When grading toy trains we strictly adhere to the TCA standards which we are a member of (12-67544). We provide in-house shipping for all items and or lots in our auctions. We can and do combine items the best we can for efficient shipping. Once your item invoice is paid, we move that invoice to shipping. Once your items are carefully packed, a shipping invoice is generated through Shipping Saint. Once your shipping invoice is paid, your package(s) are sent within 1-3 business days, depending on weekends and holidays. Pickups at our facility are possible. You can pickup your items at our facility once you have made contact with us and have an appointment. We are very busy, but very flexible with pickups. Auctions end on Saturdays but please call us on the Tuesday morning after the auction and we should be ready to schedule a pickup. Most times, it can happen on Tuesday. Modern Era Lionel O Gauge 11875 PFE Pacific Fruit Express steel sided refrigerator car silver 3 pack in original shipper. Trains look C8 with light run time. Box shows little wear, shipper labels and area where shipping label was removed by cutting the outline. Boxes are clean, square and solid.

Modern Era MTH Rail King O Gauge 30-2447-1 Metropolitan (Green) 4-car set Lo-V Subway set, with original instructions. 4577, 4771, 5435, 5503. 4577 has one truck missing a step/end, otherwise trains look C8 with light run time.

Modern Era Williams O Gauge EP301 New Haven EP5 Powered A with horn, cab number 359 in original box, C7. Box shows little wear, inventory sticker, square and solid.

Modern Era MTH Rail King O Gauge 30-2135-1 Santa Fe Doodlebug, 3-Rail with QSI QS-3000 sound board installed. Loco has a very small hairline in a bottom corner. Train looks C7+ with run time. Original Rail King and QSI instructions included.

Restored Prewar Lionel O Gauge Union Pacific UP 636W powered unit with whistle, 637 coach, 637 coach and 638 observation, streamlined diesel passenger train. Train has been restored to look excellent.

Modern Era O Gauge: Lionel 996040 CSX TTX auto carrier, 9823 Southern Pacific flatcar, 459400 Pacific Fruit Express reefer, 9406 D&RGW Rio Grande Cookie Car box car. Menards 5163 Union Pacific gondola and 20706 Santa Fe flatcar with mounting holes for an auto. MTH 62601 NP Northern Pacific flatcar with searchlight and generator. Williams D&RGW Rio Grande stock car. 996040 has broken truck, 459400 has missing truck assemblies. Two truck assemblies included. Freight trains look C7.

Prewar Lionel O Gauge 1700E articulated diesel locomotive and 1702 observation passenger car, restored to look very good. No motor, just shells.

Modern Era K-Line O Gauge American Red Cross passenger coaches, Walter Reed, Louis Pasteur and Ellie Metchnikoff. Trains look C7+.

Modern Era Lionel O Gauge 8764 Baltimore and Ohio B&O BUDD powered passenger car, 8767 illuminated BUDD commuter train RDC-1 passenger car and 8768 illuminated BUDD commuter train RDC-1 passenger car, in original boxes in 1766 1977 Service Station Special Set box. Trains look C7. Boxes show light wear. Set box shows mild wear to labels, some Sharpie, clear tape. Boxes are clean, square and solid.

3rd Rail Division Sunset Models brass Union Pacific UP 2-8-0 steam locomotive and tender #329 in box, 3-Rail. Train has loose boiler front and loose tender end. Train looks super nice C7. Box shows little wear, clean, square and solid.

Two Modern K-Line O Gauge Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Advertising Car No. 1 circus cars. Trains look C7.

Modern Era Marx O Gauge MTCC 1995 Marx Trains box car JDP Limited Shops, unrun C9. Also included is a Moder Era litographed tinplate Marx Toys 1920's delivery box truck, excellent condition with just some minor display dust and a couple super light scratches. Truck measures approximately 7-1/2 inches long.

Marx O Gauge Santa Fe 1829 4-6-4 steam locomotive and tender, tender has some light rust on inside of wheels. Train otherwise looks fantastic C7+.

Marx O Gauge NYC 400 0-4-0 steam locomotive and tender, automatic gateman, flashing crossing signal and a floodlight tower. Tower has layout paint on base, gateman is missing gate arm, signal has some minor surface rust on some small parts, tender is missing a front step. Nice clean lot that overall looks C6.

Modern Era O Gauge figures animals MTH Street signs and Lionel parking lot/street lamps, loose C6-7. K-Line K-42313 Fire Fighters Set, MOC.

Seven Prewar Joy Line O Gauge lithographed tinplate passenger cars, five 357 The Joy Line Coach cars and two 458 The Joy Line observation cars. Trains all have the gold window trim, one coach and one observation have gold truck frame areas, C6.

Six Joy Line O Gauge lithographed tinplate 357 The Joy Line Coach cars. One train has some rust on the frame, some have whitish wax/polish residue. Trains look C6.

JEP O Gauge P.O. electric loco, two baggage cars, two coaches and a Bananas box car. Loco has a bent cab corner. Eight wheel baggage car has Sharpie touchups to truck frames and small touchups in the red. Trains look C5-7.

Stronlite 3-Rail O Gauge LNER 0-4-0T steam locomotive (missing ears to one bumper) and two LNER passenger coaches. Trains look C6.

KBN Karl Bub O Gauge electric loco with two coaches. Loco has Sharpie touchups to roof, coaches have Sharpie touchups to frames. Trains look C6.

Karl Bub boxed O Gauge clockwork set with 5067 steam locomotive and tender with two coaches. Loco shows very light run time. Trains look super nice C7+. Set includes six curved and two sections of tinplate track. No key for loco. Box lid and bottom have clear tape repairs. Lid has tears to sides/corners and some missing material. Bottom still retains dividers. Overall box shows wear, fairly solid bottom.

Prewar Marklin O Gauge Jamaica Bananen Bremen box car/freight wagen Guterwagen. Train has Sharpie touchups to door guides, frame, dog house roof and couplers. Train otherwise looks C6.

Modern Era Paya O Gauge 1101 2-6-2 steam locomotive and tender in original box. Loco and tender have heavy fatigue to die-cast parts. Box shows little wear. Train and tender body look C7 other than die-cast damage. Bag of pieces, parts and crumbs included.

Modern Era Paya O Gauge wine barrel car in original box , some very light flaking to wheels, one bumper is detached but included. Train otherwise looks C7+. Box is square and solid with little wear.

Paya O Gauge log car in original box, a tiny bit of light flaking to some bumpers, wheels look great with little flaking. Train looks C7+. Box is marked 11351-E and shows little wear.

Postwar Lionel O Gauge 3656 operating cattle car in originall box, very clean C6+. Box has nice insert, some clear tape, some wear and tear, missing 6014 Pennsylvania PRR Baby Ruth box car, dull white super clean C7.

Modern Era Lionel O Gauge engine shed/house unbuilt kit with screws, no box or instructions. Kit looks complete, C6+ built.

Con-Cor 8406 Katy Wabash Texas Special N Scale set in original box, C8. Box and foam show no wear.

Modern Era Kato N Scale 20-850-1 N Scale UNITRACK Set Basic Oval Track Set with Kato Power Pack, used C7. Box shows little wear.

HO Gauge RTR (Ready To Run) and unbuilt kits in box. Athearns 3001 Santa Fe SF passenger F7A dummy RTR and 3101 Santa Fe SF passenger F7A geared RTR, diesel locomotives in original boxes.
