Boxed Marx O Gauge Set No. 8994 NYC 898 steam locomotive with lithographed tinplate New York Central tender, 552 Rock Island C.R.I.&P. gondola, 553 Santa Fe Middle States Oil tank car, 556 New York Central Lines caboose, freight train.  Loco has a large touchup to cab roof, other small touchups.  Trains otherwise overall look C6+.  Clean straight and curved track, track terminal, 729 50 watts transformer with original cord.  Some box dividers are original, others are home made. Bottom shows little wear.  Lid has some discolorations, two clear tape repaired corners, strong print, 48-3018 ink stamp.  Box is overall clean, square and solid.
